About Barbie Gupta

Hi, I am Barbie! and no, I do not exist in the fairy-tale world. (But I do think it can be quite magical finding the right home.)

I am an athlete by heart, as I have represented my school at the state level in both basketball and cricket, and that spirit of competition is what makes me drive in the world of real estate. With sales experience of 14 years working in three different industries and countries, event management and banking in India and real estate in Dubai and Chicago, I have obtained a one-of-a-kind experience of people and cultures, as well as what really counts in making life-altering choices. 

In Dubai, I gained valuable experience working directly with developers,  where I assisted clients worldwide to find their dream homes and investments. After getting married I moved to Chicago, where I immersed myself into the real estate market. In the last five years, I have assisted a lot of tenants to find the home of their dreams and then taken several of them through the process of owning their own first home. It is one of the journeys that I enjoy being a part of leasing to ownership.

It is quite an easy formula - I listen, I hustle, I make each experience unique to the needs of my clients. Having a history of working in global markets and a personality of bonding, I know how to switch between various mentalities and produce outcomes, both accurately and emotionally. 

Out of my negotiations and obsessing over comps, you can see me cooking (and feeding a crowd), chasing my toddler, or going on a hike when time permits.I thrive on connection and enjoy hosting loved ones, as I believe home is the place where people come together.
